Elderbrook

Elderbrook, the stage name of Alexander Kotz, is a well-known personality in the English electronic music industry. Since making his debut in 2015, he has advanced significantly as a diverse musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, and DJ.

With the release of his first EP, which included the popular song “How Many Times”—which was well-received and later remixed by the German duet Andhim—his career took off. Mixmag named it one of the greatest songs of 2015.

Elderbrook worked with a number of musicians in 2016—including Gorgon City—and demonstrated his remixing abilities by redoing songs by well-known artists like Clean Bandit.

But it was his work with CamelPhat on the song “Cola” that really sent him soaring to praise throughout the globe. The song shot to the top of the UK Indie Chart and the US Dance Club Songs charts in equally short order. The song “Cola” was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2018 for Best Dance Song, a significant development that cemented Elderbrook’s position as a pioneer in electronic music.
