The Super Bowl is the most-watched event of the year with over 111 million people tuning in last year to watch the New York Giants defeat the New England Patriots. While the Vegas club scene will no doubt be a-buzz after the big game, this blog is about where to watch the game itself. Las Vegas draws a huge crowd for the game each year (over 280,000 were estimated to visit last year) and it is a huge boom for the cities bars, restaurants and of course the sports-books. So where do all these people watch the game? Here are a few of our favorite spots around town:
Lagasse’s Stadium at The Palazzo
This ultra-luxurious sports-book is one of the hottest tickets in town to watch any major sporting event. With more than 100 HD TVs including a 9’x16′ main TV, you would be hard pressed to find a bad seat in the house. Signature dishes created by Emeril Lagasse include bar-room favorites like burgers, wings, nachos and even a giant pretzel. Luxury boxes, plush stadium-style seating, billiard tables and much more make up this ultimate experience.
The Ainsworth at The Hard Rock
Known for its flagship location in New York City, The Ainsworth recently brought its trendy, upscale bar and lounge atmosphere to Las Vegas. With an impressive cocktail and bottle menu and a small food menu packed with delicious bites, The Ainsworth is a 3,500 sq.ft. space that features a sophisticated rustic decor creating a perfect setting for the game.
Public House at The Luxor
Another popular East Coast hangout, the Public House opened its first West Coast location right here in Las Vegas. Public House brings a bit of an at-home feel for East Coasters with its brick walls and patriotic decor. With a unique menu featuring items such as Cheesesteak Spring Rolls and French Quarter Jambalaya and an extensive beer menu with selections from all over the globe, you and your friends will have a great time rooting for your team at the Public House.
Blondies at Planet Hollywood
If you are seeking a more laid back college style experience, check out Blondies at the Planet Hollywood Resort. With over 40 big screens, cheerleader servers, beer pong and more, Blondies is the place to go with the guys to bring you back to your glorious college days. They recently opened up a sister location also inside Planet Hollywood, dubbed DB’s (Dirty Blondies) Pong & Pool. DB’s features more games and plenty of contests.
