Memorial Day in Las Vegas

Planning a trip to Las Vegas on Memorial Day? Here’s where the most anticipated parties are taking place

Memorial Day is one of the most exciting times in Las Vegas. Some of the biggest names in talent are playing at the most popular nightlife and daylife venues throughout the city. Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world and it really lives up to this name during Memorial Day weekend. This year, Memorial Day weekend runs from Friday, May 26, to Monday, May 30. However, many Vegas-goers will be arriving on Thursday, May 25, to kick off the weekend early. The events for Memorial Day weekend early birds include Dillon Francis at Surrender at Encore and DJ Mustard at The Light at Mandalay Bay on Thursday night. The Light is known for featuring giant video walls and Cirque du Soleil acrobatics.

Memorial Day in Las Vegas really starts heating up on Friday, May 27 with a huge lineup of big name talent up and down the Las Vegas strip. Steve Aoki official kicks off Memorial Day weekend at Wet Republic at the MGM Grand beginning at 11 a.m. Across the strip, DJ Mustard will be spinning starting at 11 a.m. at Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay. Credric Gervais will be at Marquee Dayclub, Bassjackers will be performing at Drai’s Rooftop, and Zedd will be performing at Encore Beach Club from late morning into the afternoon. The evening is really scheduled to impress. Certain venues, such as Hakkasan and Las Vegas’ newest venue, Jewel, located in Aria, are boasting about having surprise special guests. We can’t give anything away, but we can assure you that those two venues surely will not disappoint!

For those die-hard EDM fans out there, don’t miss one of the last opportunities to see the soon-to-be retiring Avicii on Friday at XS at Wynn. Calvin Harris will also be performing at Omnia in Caesar’s Palace while DJ Que will be at The Bank in the Bellagio and Future will be at Drai’s Rooftop Nightclub.

Saturday, May 28, brings a whole new wave of parties and top talent. Starting during the day, Afrojack will perform at Wet Republic, Avicii will perform at Encore Beach Club, and Knife Party will be performing at Rehab. Once the evening rolls around, Hakkasan in the MGM Grand will be welcoming Tiesto while Martin Garrix will be performing at Omnia. Steve Aoki takes over the newest venue in town, Jewel, in Aria. Kaskade will be performing at XS in the Wynn. Remember, Saturday is only halfway to the end of this action-packed Las Vegas weekend. Make sure to pace yourself during the day if you will be doing daylight and nightlife like a true Las Vegas veteran!

On Sunday, May 29, the day kicks off with Tiesto at Wet Republic, Kaskade at Encore Beach Club, J Cole at Daylight Beach Club, and last, but certainly not least, Lil Wayne at Foxtail Pool Club at SLS Hotel and Casino! If you’re more interested in nightlife options on Sunday, David Guetta will be performing at XS. Hardwell will be performing for the masses at Hakkasan. At Light, J Cole will be the special guest and Afrojack will be the sound at Omnia. Drai’s Rooftop is highly anticipated, as a very special guest is yet to be announced for Sunday.

Memorial Day itself kicks off with Hardwell at Wet Republic, David Guetta at Encore Beach Club, and Andrew Rayel at Marquee Beach Club. Later in the evening, events include Skrillex at XS, and The Chainsmokers at Jewel.

That surely is an overwhelming lineup for Memorial Day weekend. It’s arguably the biggest weekend of the year in Las Vegas, so it is important to keep in mind that Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas is expensive, especially if it isn’t planned correctly.
