Pennsylvania born Maria Romano started her career as a DJ at the age of eleven, spinning music for friends’ birthday celebrations. Romano began to gain notoriety in Pittsburgh’s hip-hop culture by the time she reached eighteen, showing off her skills at proms and graduation ceremonies. But her desire for a larger platform led her to focus on Las Vegas.
Romano, who is now 25 years old, has made a name for herself in Vegas’s thriving nightlife. Favoring musicians such as Drake, Cardi B, and Post Malone, she infuses her performances at prestigious venues like Drai’s, Omnia, and Hakkasan with a dynamic energy. Romano is an open format DJ that mixes a wide range of genres with ease, but her passion is hip-hop, which she views as her basis.
In Romano’s career, Drai’s in particular has a unique position. Because of the open layout of the space, DJs and guests may interact like never before, creating an electrifying environment that is ideal for Romano. She is motivated to increase her profile both locally and internationally in order to move up the DJ ladder, even outside of her residency engagements.
Outside of the DJ booth, Romano takes comfort in going to the gym, taking her dog on nature walks, and savoring the many Vegas restaurants have to offer. However, when night falls, she immerses herself completely in the throbbing beat of the club scene, using her athletic background to create thrilling performances.
DJing is more than just a hobby for Romano; it’s a way of life that drives her ambitions and keeps her in step with the bright energy of Las Vegas nightlife.
