How far will my dollar go?
One of the most frequent questions asked about Vegas holidays in Vegas, are about the minimum spends at the nightclubs and pool parties. There are a few different things to consider when looking at the party pricing and whats included. If its your first time to Vegas you may be asking, how much are the bottles and how big are they, but the biggest buzz kill for unsuspecting partiers are the taxes, tips, and locations for these bottles. The good news is you are no longer an unsuspecting partier, you will be fully informed after these next few points:
98% of the bottles of liquor are going to come in 1 liter sized bottles, and a starting average price is $525 (not including taxes/tips) for standard brands such as Absolut, Jack Daniels, or 1800 Tequila. Premium brands of liquor such as Goose, Ciroc, Patron, Crown will be $580-650 (not including taxes/tips).
Every club charges taxes and tips on bar tabs. Taxes and tips on top of bar tabs ranges from 28% – 45% tax on top of your bar tab, break downs are shown below:
- 8.1% Nevada State Sales Tax
- 20-22% Tip to the wait staff. To ensure you get the best service we tip out 20-22% of the bar tab to the waitress at the party you are at. No extra tip is required at the table unless more bottles/tabs are purchased after the prepay is spent.
- 10% Live Entertainment Tax (LET) – This is only applicable at some club. If there is a live performance from a band, singer, rapper etc then there will be LET. Some DJs such as Calvin Harris and Steve Aoki always have LET when they play. Venues that always have LET because of their go-go dancers include Marquee, Light, Hakkasan and Omnia. Other clubs its only on selective nights.
- 5% “service or management fee” This is the clubs way of having you pay for the credit card fees, some clubs like Encore Beach Club have a cap of the fee, up to $250. Other venues like TAO charge 5% of the tab regardless.
On top of the taxes/tips required on the bar tab we do have a tip out to upper management built in to guarantee your table for the evening, be able to pick out an area for that table, and for all queue/line jumps at the venues. This tip varies from venue to venue and can change depending on the day of the week, the DJ, and the table location. Your sales rep can go over specific details for tables you are interested in. Even if you don’t book with Red Carpet VIP, the guy behind the ropes might ask for a nice handshake before walking you in.
Table locations and minimum spends are listed below for our most requested venues. A general rule for minimums for clubs not listed would be 1 bottle for every 4 people in your party, or a $500 bar tab. Tables still may have a minimum and the more money you spend, the closer you are to the stage/dance floor. Dance floor tables will still require a few bottles regardless of group size. PACKAGES ARE AVAILABLE at clubs that will take your dollar farther than the menu would normally allow. Not every club is listed below, please ask your sales rep for specific information about your day and nights out.
Nightclubs average minimums are subject to change on nights with big performers, DJs, or holiday weekends. Tables will have an average seating for number, this is for people who can physically sit at the table. There is more room around the table for extra members of the group and for dancing. Tables can seat more/less depending on individual groups. For these minimums below you are paying for the table location in the club, minimums can be higher depending on your group size.
XS:
Friday/Saturday
(Monday pricing is similar and based on the DJ, can be lower)
- 2 bottle tables ($1300 min) will be on the patio in a general location, depending on the DJ there may be small main room tables available at this rate (seating 2-3)
- 3 bottle tables ($1950 min) will be tables on the patio right by the DJ (seats 4) or in the main room by the main bar (seats 6)
- Back wall tables will start at a $2500-3000 minimum (seats 6-8)
- Forward facing tables will start at a $3500-4000 minimum (seats 6-8)
- Big brown couches that seat 10-12 people will start at a $5000 minimum
- Dance Floor and overlooking the dance floor tables will start $5000-7500 and can even start at $10k minimum spend for mega DJs and holidays.
Sunday (packages available) – Nightswim
- $1000 minimum spend will be by the south side hotel pool
- $1500 minimum will be near the main pool, table seating average of 4
- $2000 minimum will be in the main area, by the main bar or at an upper cabana
- $3000 minimum will be a main level cabana or a water front couch
Marquee
Friday/Saturday:
- $1000 minimum – General Patio Location (seats 6)
- $1500 minimum – Central Patio Location (seats 8)
- $2000 minimum – Great front patio location (seats 10), bungalow cabana on patio (seats 10), cloud bar in main room (seats 4), or salon (side of main room, table sizes vary)
- $2500 minimum – Bungalow cabana on patio, 3rd Tier (seats 4)
- $3000 minimum – Grand Cabana on patio or big 3rd Tier in main room (seats 6)
- $4000 minimum – Front Grand Cabana on patio or Main Room overlooking the dance floor (seats 8)
- $5000 minimum + – Dance Floor (tables size vary, average seating 4-6)
Monday:
- Main Room can be sat with a $1000 minimum depending on the DJ
- In winter when the dome is up, patio is usually hip hop/top 40 and main room is house
Drais Nightclub
Tuesday – Drais Yacht Club (packages available)
- Banquette tables seating 4, or upper daybeds seating 6 can be sat for one bottle or package minimum
- $1000 minimum – Daybeds and couches by the pool
- $2000 minimum – Upper cabanas (sometimes available for $1500 minimum)
- $2500/3000 minimum – Lower Bungalows
Friday/Saturday:
- $1000 minimums with big performers or DJs are located on the patio or without a big performer- small main room tables with average seating for 4
- $2000 minimums are sat in bigger main room tables with average seating for 6
- $3000 minimums unless a big DJ are typically tables overlooking the dance floor (seats 8-10)
- $4000 minimums unless a big DJ are sat on the dance floor (seats 8-10) (if big DJ these are tables overlooking the dance floor
- $5000 minimums will be dance floor or stage tables
Omnia:
If Calvin Harris or holiday:
- $2000 minimums will be on the terrace overlooking the strip (no lower minimums are accepted)
- $4000 minimums will be the biggest table on the patio (cabanas – seating 8)
- $5000 minimums will be in the hip hop room “Heart of Omnia”
- $6000 minimums will be on the balcony in the main room with view of the DJ and dance floor
- $10k+ will be located on the main level of the main room
Tuesday:
- $1000 minimums will be on the terrace overlooking the strip
- $2500+ minimums will be in the hip hop room “Heart of Omnia”
- $2500-$3000 minimums will be on the balcony in the main room with view of the DJ and dance floor
- $3000+ minimums will be located on the main level of the main room
Friday/Saturday:
- $1500 minimums will be on the terrace overlooking the strip (no lower minimums are accepted)
- $3000 minimums will be the biggest table on the patio (cabanas – seating 8)
- $2500/3500 minimums will be in the hip hop room “Heart of Omnia”
- $5000-6000 minimums will be on the balcony in the main room with view of the DJ and dance floor
- $7000+ will be located on the main level of the main room
Hakkasan:
Sunday – Only the Ling Ling Club is open playing hip hop music
Thursday :
- $1500-2500 minimums will be in the ling ling club (hip hip room)
- $2000-4000 minimums will be in the pavilion (side of main room)
- $3500 minimums will be on the balcony (seating 10)
- $4000 minimums will be 4th tier in the main room
- $6000-7500 minimums will be sat overlooking the dance floor
- $7000+ minimums will be sat on the dance floor
Friday/Saturday:
– If Calvin Harris or holiday weekend, expect additional $1k minimum on all tables
- $1500-2500 minimums will be in the ling ling club (hip hip room)
- $3500-4000 minimums will be in the pavilion (side of main room)
- $3500-4500 minimums will be on the balcony (seating 10)
- $5000-6000 minimums will be 4th tier in the main room
- $6000-7500 minimums will be sat overlooking the dance floor
- $7500+ minimums will be sat on the dance floor
TAO:
Friday/Saturday:
- $1000 minimums will be small main room tables (seating up to 5)
- $1500 – $2000 minimums are sat in lower skyboxes (up to 10)
- $2000 minimums can be main level moat tables – by the bathtub (seating up to 4)
- $2500 minimums will be sat in the Moat area – raised area (up to 8)
- $3000+ minimums are dance floor tables
Wet Republic:
Friday:
- $1000-1250 minimum for daybeds
- $1500 minimum tables for lounge tables in the shade
- $2000 minimum for dance floor tables by the dj
- $2500-$3000 minimum for waterfront couches
- $2500+ minimum for cabanas
- $4000-5000 minimums for bungalows
Saturday:
– If Calvin Harris or holiday weekend, expect additional $1k minimum on all tables
- $2500 minimum for daybeds (no minimum lower is accepted – allows entry for 6)
- $4000 minimums for lounge tables in the shade or dance floor tables by the DJ
- $5000+ minimums for water front couches
- $6000+ minimums for cabanas
- $7500-$10k+ minimums for bungalows
Sunday:
- $1500 minimum for daybeds (no minimum lower is accepted – allows entry for 6)
- $2500 minimums for lounge tables in the shade or dance floor tables by the DJ
- $3000+ minimums for water front couches
- $4000+ minimums for cabanas
- $7500+ minimums for bungalows
Encore Beach Club:
– Encore Beach Club has very strict rules about how many are allowed in under a certain minimum. In certain locations and days we can add additional people for an increased bar tab, or walk the group in via hosted entry.
– Minimums at EBC increase by $700 increments
Friday/Sunday:
- $1400 minimum will be a beach couch or lily pad (up to 6)
- $2100 minimum are daybeds (up to 8)
- $2800 minimums are DJ tables (up to 8)
- $3000 minimums are for main level cabanas (North side cabanas are an extra $1k min spend) (up to 12)
- $6000 minimums are for lower bungalows (up to 20)
Saturday:
- $1400 minimum will be a tables in Andreas Patio area (up to 6)
- $2100 minimum will be beach couches or lilypads (up to 6)
- $2800 minimums are Daybeds (up to 8)
- $4000 minimums will be sat in the 2nd level cabanas (up to 10)
- $6000 minimums are for main level cabanas (North side cabanas are an extra $1k min spend) (up to 12)
- $5000 minimums are for upper bungalows (up to 15)
- $15k+ minimums are for lower bungalows (up to 20)
Drais Beach Club:
- $1000 minimums will be located at Daybeds with a strip view
- $2000 minimums will be located at upper cabanas
- $4000 minimums will be located at lower bungalows
