Saying Goodbye to Rain

This coming Saturday night will mark the end to one of the longest running Las Vegas nightclubs. Open since November of 2001, Rain Nightclub at the Palms was the first mega-club in Las Vegas and was instantly a hit. It only became more popular when it regularly appeared on MTV’s Real World Las Vegas in late 2002. During its incredible run, Rain played host to some of the biggest DJ’s and entertainers in the world, including residencies by Paul Oakenfold and the late DJ AM.

As more and more mega-clubs opened in Vegas, Rain Nightclub was able to maintain its relevance while dozens of other clubs came and went. However, all good things must come to an end, and Rain Nightclub has reached its final days. They will be hosting a final Halloween Bash on Saturday night before they close their doors.

The club will temporarily remain available for private functions and still plans to open for New Years Eve Weekend. Palms and the N9NE Group have plans to open a new club in 2013 and will begin renovations after the New Year.
