Las Vegas in September 2026: Events, Concerts & Football
September is the month Las Vegas changes gears. Pool season is still running, but the calendar tilts toward arena shows and football: J. Cole plays T-Mobile Arena on the 6th, the iHeartRadio Music Festival takes over the same room for two nights on the 18th and 19th, and the Raiders host the Miami Dolphins at Allegiant Stadium on the 13th. Add High Stakes Festival at AREA15 to close the month and you have a September with a genuine headliner in almost every week.
Here is what is actually happening, when, and how to get in.

Five things worth planning your trip around
September gives you four distinct weekends, each with its own anchor. These are the five we would build a trip around.
J. Cole – September 6, T-Mobile Arena

J. Cole brings The Fall-Off Tour to T-Mobile Arena on Sunday, September 6, at 8:00 PM. A Sunday arena show means the Strip stays busy well past midnight, so book dinner earlier than you think you need to.
iHeartRadio Music Festival – September 18-19, T-Mobile Arena

The iHeartRadio Music Festival returns to T-Mobile Arena for two nights, September 18 and 19. The arena lists the bill as BTS, Benson Boone, Cardi B, Goo Goo Dolls, Kenny Chesney, Lainey Wilson, LE SSERAFIM, Major Lazer, Muse, Snoop Dogg, Weezer and Zara Larsson – which makes it the densest music weekend of the month by a distance. If you want one weekend in September, this is the one, and it is also the one where hotel rates move first.
Las Vegas Raiders vs Miami Dolphins – September 13, Allegiant Stadium

The Raiders host Miami at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, September 13, at 1:25 PM. An early kickoff changes the shape of the whole day: sportsbooks fill from mid-morning, dayclubs thin out around noon, and the post-game crowd hits the Strip in the late afternoon rather than at night. Marshmello plays Encore Beach Club the same day – the two pair better than you would expect.
High Stakes Festival – September 25-26, AREA15

High Stakes Festival takes over AREA15 across Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26, with doors at 7:00 PM. AREA15 describes it as a two-day electronic music festival staged in the venue’s A-Lot, and entry is 18+ with ID. AREA15 sits off-Strip at 3215 South Rancho Drive, and its immersive spaces make it a genuinely different festival environment from a Strip venue – worth the short ride even if you are staying on the Boulevard.
TravCon 2026 – September 13-16, Paris Las Vegas

TravCon, the travel healthcare industry conference, runs Sunday through Wednesday at Paris Las Vegas, with sessions starting at 7:00 AM. Registration and the session schedule are on the TravCon site. It overlaps the Raiders home opener on the 13th, which makes that Sunday the busiest day of the middle of the month on the central Strip.
Pool parties and nightlife: the September lineups
Dayclub season is still going strong. Sidepiece opens the month at LIV Beach on September 4, The Chainsmokers and Dom Dolla split Saturday the 5th between Encore Beach Club and LIV Beach, Marshmello takes Encore Beach Club on the 13th, Tiësto is back at LIV Beach on the 19th, and BUNT. closes the month at Encore Beach Club on the 25th.
Nights run just as deep: Loud Luxury opens September 2 at Encore Beach Club at Night, Bolo plays Zouk Nightclub on the 10th, Hugel brings Alec Monopoly to Encore Beach Club at Night on the 12th, Dombresky and RL Grime both play the 18th at LIV Las Vegas and Zouk respectively, and Dillon Francis closes out September 27 with Valentino Khan.
Lineups shift, so check the full Las Vegas event calendar for the current schedule. If you want a table rather than a general admission line, bottle service and table reservations are the difference between watching the set and having somewhere to stand — and on iHeartRadio weekend, the good tables go early.
Off the Strip in September
Cockroach Cabaret at First Friday – September 4, Vegas Theatre Company

Cockroach Cabaret runs at Vegas Theatre Company on Friday, September 4, at 8:30 PM, timed to First Friday in the Arts District. First Friday itself is free and walkable – galleries open late, murals, food trucks, live music – and the cabaret is the late-evening version of that same crowd. It is the easiest way to see the Las Vegas that has nothing to do with the Strip.
Las Vegas Pride Family Bingo – September 9, AREA15

Las Vegas Pride runs Family Bingo at AREA15 on Wednesday, September 9, at 7:00 PM – part of the run-up to Pride season in the city. Details are on the Las Vegas Pride site. All ages, midweek, and an easy off-Strip evening.
Las Vegas Aviators vs Sacramento River Cats – September 8-13, Las Vegas Ballpark

The Aviators host Sacramento for a six-game homestand at Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin, first pitch generally 7:05 PM. Triple-A baseball on a September evening in Summerlin is one of the better-value nights in the valley, and it is fifteen minutes from the Strip.
Lowrider Las Vegas Super Show – September 19, Las Vegas Convention Center

The Lowrider Super Show fills the Las Vegas Convention Center on Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 AM – builds, live music, and one of the most photographed car shows of the year. It lands on the same Saturday as night two of iHeartRadio, so plan the day around one and the night around the other.
Air Supply – September 4-5, Westgate International Theater

Air Supply play two nights at the International Theater at Westgate Las Vegas, September 4 and 5 at 7:00 PM. It is a smaller room than the arena shows this month, off the central Strip, and an early enough curtain that you can make a late dinner afterward.
Where to eat and stay this month
Our September dining picks lean toward rooms that hold up on a busy convention and event weekend. Beauty & Essex at The Cosmopolitan is the pre-show dinner that turns into a night out. Spago at Bellagio remains the Strip classic with a Fountains view. And Stanton Social Italian at Caesars Palace is the shareable-plates option in the middle of everything.
On rooms: Wynn Las Vegas puts you closest to Encore Beach Club, where The Chainsmokers, Marshmello and BUNT. all play this month. Fontainebleau is the direct play if LIV and LIV Beach are your priority – Sidepiece, Dom Dolla, Tiësto and Dombresky are all there in September. And The Palazzo is the all-suite choice in the middle of everything. Book early for the September 18-19 window – that is the tightest stretch of the month. We can also help with Las Vegas hotel deals and suite reservations.
Frequently asked questions
Is September a good time to visit Las Vegas?
September is one of the better months to visit. Daytime temperatures ease off the summer peak while pools are still open, and the events calendar picks up as football and arena tours return. You get pool season and concert season in the same trip, which is not true of most of the year.
What is the busiest weekend in Las Vegas in September 2026?
September 18-19. The iHeartRadio Music Festival runs both nights at T-Mobile Arena, Tiësto plays LIV Beach on the 19th, RL Grime and Dombresky play the 18th, and the Lowrider Super Show fills the Convention Center on the 19th. Hotel rates and restaurant availability are tightest that weekend.
What concerts are in Las Vegas in September 2026?
Air Supply at the Westgate International Theater on September 4 and 5, J. Cole at T-Mobile Arena on September 6, and the iHeartRadio Music Festival at T-Mobile Arena on September 18 and 19. Weezer follows at T-Mobile Arena on October 23.
Do I need bottle service to get into a Las Vegas pool party?
No – dayclubs sell general admission. But on a headliner day like The Chainsmokers or Tiësto, general admission lines are long and cabanas and daybeds sell out well in advance. A table is what guarantees you a place to sit and a way past the line.
Looking ahead to October

Weezer play T-Mobile Arena on Friday, October 23 at 7:00 PM, heading into the strongest stretch of the fall calendar. For the wider picture, see our guide to the biggest Las Vegas events in 2026.
September rewards picking your weekend. The first belongs to J. Cole and the pools, the second to football and TravCon, the third to iHeartRadio, and the last to AREA15. Whichever one you are here for, our team can handle the tables, the entry, and the rooms – tell us what you are planning and we will build the itinerary around it.
