The best venues for Pool Season in Las Vegas

Pool season is here! April and May are a fantastic time to come to Las Vegas. The weather is mild. Well, for the middle of the desert at least, and the college crowds are out in full force. Coming to Las Vegas during this time ensures that you get the best of both worlds: daylife and nightlife. In addition, you can meet people from all over the country and the world. Las Vegas has many amazing nightlife and daylife venues for pool season goers from near and far. Perhaps the most popular are the dayclubs, which are venues that are open during a time commonly referred to as “pool season”. These venues offer similar services as nightlife venues, but during the day. From private cabanas with table service to world-famous DJs and EDM artists, pools are the go-to place for fun during the day.
Tao Beach and Marquee Dayclub are at the Venetian and the Cosmopolitan, respectively. They are owned and operated by the same nightlife company, the Tao Group. Marquee Club is open daily from 11 a.m. until the sun goes down. A grand opening performance by Ciara took place on March 19. Nick Ferrer and PS1 are set to perform on Saturday, April 23. Javier Alba is performing on Sunday, April 24. On Friday, May 6, Politik performs at Tao. Also on Friday, May 7, Vice performs at Marquee. Eric D-Lux performs on May 7 at Tao. The Marquee Dayclub spans 22,000 square feet and offers two pools, several bars, and a gaming area. Tao Beach brings all aspects of the Tao restaurant into a daytime party. Located at the Venetian, it is the self-proclaimed “Number One Pool Party in Las Vegas.” This venue is extremely popular. If you don’t feel like waiting in line for two hours and then not having a place to sit, called Red Carpet VIP and they will get you set up like a true V.I.P.
Next on the list is Wet Republic. Wet Republic is an absolutely massive pool party that was one of the first of its kind since its debut in 2008. It is over 50,000 square feet with two giant pools measuring 6,000 square feet alone. This pool has some of the most brilliant décor and plants. Some of the most famous DJs host the outdoor pool parties, including Steve Aoki, Tiesto, and Calvin Harris. Martin Garrix is performing on Saturday, April 23 with “Endless Sundays” with Nervo set for the following day. On April 30, Krewella is the main event. Saturday, May 7, is a highly anticipated party with Tiesto performing with Mike Williams starting at 11 a.m. This is a great venue to kick off your day right, trust us!
Encore Beach Club at the Wynn is a three-level pool party complex with exceptional landscaping. It is exactly what you would expect from the Wynn as far as elegance and atmosphere. In addition, it boasts some of the most spectacular private bungalows out of any pool party in Las Vegas. Encore Beach Club is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., has a full food menu, and top EDM artists. Zedd performs on Friday, April 22and David Guetta performs Saturday, April 23. May kicks off properly with David Guetta performing on Sunday, May 1 and then again the following Saturday, May 7. The soon to be retiring Avicii performs on May 8.
Drai’s Beach Club is one of the newest beach clubs in Las Vegas. It has exceptional detail and many feel it has set the standard for the Vegas dayclub experience. Drai’s has the best view of any dayclub, as it is 11 stories above the Las Vegas strip. It contains lush palm trees and both indoor and outdoor seating. Drai’s Beach Club is connected to Drai’s Nightclub, both of which attract the top DJs and musical performers. Drai’s welcomes Trey Songz on Friday, April 22 and Big Sean on Saturday, April 30. With the first weekend in May being action-packed up and down the Las Vegas strip, Drai’s hosts T.I. on Friday, May 6.
Last, but not least, Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is the originator of daylife. Open Friday to Sunday, from 11 a.m. until sunset, Rehab hosts some of the most notorious summer and pool season parties, and is now transitioning to highlight more EDM artists this year such as Knife Party. Rehab Beach Club’s Grand Opening weekend takes place on Saturday April 23, and features Knife Party on Saturday and two special resident DJs on Sunday. The Bingo Players perform on May 7.
