Born on April 28, 1987, Robin Alexander Schulz is a well-known German DJ, record producer, and musician. On February 4, 2014, he gained notoriety with the release of his debut track, a remix of “Waves” by Mr. Probz, a Dutch hip hop musician. At the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, this remix was nominated for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical and received a lot of positive feedback.
Following the success of “Waves,” Schulz released a remix of Lilly Wood and the Prick’s “Prayer in C” from their 2010 album Invincible Friends as his follow-up single on June 6, 2014. With the success of both remixes on charts in Europe and the US, Schulz became a global celebrity.
