Larne-born Robert Ferguson, often known as Fergie, is a well-known DJ in Northern Ireland and a pioneer of electronic music. Over the course of his more than two-decade career, he has had a significant influence on the dance music industry worldwide.

At the early age of 14, Fergie started his career by spinning his first DJ set on top of an overturned milk crate. Tony De Vit, who became his mentor and cleared the path for his ascent to fame, saw his talent. Fergie ruled the hard house scene in the 1990s, winning over crowds at legendary club nights like Trade, Godskitchen, and Sundissential.

Fergie’s chart-topping remix of “Meet Her at the Love Parade” and other songs in the early 2000s helped him reach stardom. As he changed with the times, his DJ sets became more techno and house oriented, landing him residency slots at iconic Ibiza venues like Privilege, Amnesia, and Space.

Fergie’s impact is not limited to the turntable. He’s put out critically praised DJ mixes, written pieces for major magazines like Mixmag, and established the renowned Excentric Muzik record label back in 2007. His 2010 debut solo album “Dynamite & Laserbeams” cemented his place as a major creative force in the field.

Based in Las Vegas at the moment, Fergie captivates audiences with his energetic performances while holding highly sought-after DJ residencies at prestigious venues including as Omnia and Hakkasan Nightclub. Under the alias Fergie (DJ), Fergie, who has an impressive career spanning decades, is pushing the frontiers of electronic music.
