Jyoty’s journey through the underground scenes of London and Amsterdam is proof of her persistent dedication to and love for music. Her first big break came when she started working as the door manager at Boiler Room events. Her lively demeanor attracted the attention of the organizers, which opened doors for her to host concerts for the platform.

Her skill was quickly discovered, and she was granted a regular spot on the internationally renowned radio station Rinse FM. Here, Jyoty gained a devoted fan base because to her ability to find new music and engage with guests, which struck a chord with listeners all over the world.

Jyoty is committed to give back to the community and maintains her groundedness despite her rising fame as a DJ. Inspired by her Indian roots, she has collaborated with the British Council to provide DJ classes for women in Calcutta. She has also served as a mentor for young British Asian women who want to work in music, stressing the value of sharing expertise and experience in order to create significant change.

Jyoty is dedicated to using music to empower people when she’s not gracing the stages of clubs and festivals throughout the globe, including renowned establishments like Barcelona’s Razzmatazz and New York City’s Good Room.
