Actor, record producer, and DJ Cédric DePasquale, better known by his stage name Cedric Gervais, is a Frenchman living in Miami Beach, Florida. Growing in popularity in the late 1990s, Gervais gained recognition in the electronic music industry and was granted residencies at prestigious locations like as Crobar and Nikki Beach.
Gervais has worked with well-known musicians throughout his career, including Steve Lawler, Deep Dish, and Lenny Kravitz, demonstrating his flexibility and production prowess. In addition, he started his own record labels, Sleaze and Sleaze Industries, which have released a blend of tribal house and progressive music.
With his remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness,” Gervais enjoyed widespread popularity in 2013 and was recognized with a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording. He kept putting out successful songs and remixes, which enhanced his standing as a key player in the electronic dance music industry.
