Party Capital of the World: Las Vegas vs. Ibiza Island

So much has been made of the debate of party worlds between Las Vegas and the island sensation Ibiza. As Las Vegas’s premier hosting company since 2002, we figured we were more than qualified to weigh in on this debate. Let’s start at the beginning. The Las Vegas club scene has grown by leaps and bounds in the last 10 years. Hip Hop was the main music of choice in the LV clubs in the late 90’s. However, as the demand for electronic dance music increased globally so did the priorities of the Las Vegas club owners. What drives this new found desire for Electronic dance music? However, Las Vegas is cultivating a few DJ sensations of its own with names such as Pauly D, LMFAO, DaDa Life and DJ DLux as resident DJ in some of the hottest LV clubs. “Some people will never see Las Vegas as the EDM capital because Ibiza has held the title for so long” reflects Rich, hosting manager at Red Carpet VIP “But LV has a few things that Ibiza doesn’t really have. The LV day club scene is becoming as big of an attraction as the LV nightlife scene. “And as it has become one of our most requested attractions, we certainly agree. LV pool parties such as Wet Republic, Encore Beach Club, and Marquee Day club and of course the formerly televised Rehab pool parties have become just as popular as the nightclubs. In retrospect, it seems as if both Las Vegas and Ibiza Island have incredible party scenes. However, with the addition of the Electric Daisy Carnival held in LV earlier this year, Las Vegas is definitely the EDM capital of the US. The world may not be far behind.
